Every organiser (an activity leader or a business) picks one of the platform's cancellation policies for their event. You see it on the event page, next to the date picker, at checkout and in the booking confirmation e-mail.
Your booking keeps the terms shown when you bought it. If the organiser changes the policy later, bookings already made are not affected.
Activities on Buqtivity are leisure services for a specific date. For such services the law gives no 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract (Art. 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the Croatian Consumer Protection Act), so a refund on cancellation follows the event's policy described below.
An event that chose one of the older policies earlier (e.g. "Moderate" with a full refund up to 7 days, or "Strict" with 50% up to 7 days) keeps it until its organiser changes it; the terms that apply to you are always the ones shown on the event page and in your booking confirmation.
Deadlines count to the start of the activity, Croatian time; for multi-day programmes, to the start of the first day. A deadline in days (e.g. "7 days before" or "48 hours before") means the same clock time that many days earlier; if daylight saving time changes in between, the deadline that is better for you applies. Cancelling exactly at the deadline still counts.
Not showing up, or arriving after the start without cancelling, counts as a cancellation after the last deadline (no refund).
If the organiser cancels a date or the whole event, because of bad weather, safety, too few participants or any other reason, you get everything you paid back, every extra included, also under the "Non-refundable" and "Weather-dependent" policies. The event's cancellation policy does not apply then. The refund to your card is sent automatically; you do not have to ask for it.
If the organiser offers another date, the choice is yours: the new date or a full refund. Nobody can make you accept a voucher instead of your money.
If the activity goes ahead and you decide not to come because of the forecast, that is your cancellation and the event's policy applies.
You may transfer your booking to someone else free of charge until the activity starts: tell us the new participant's name (and any details the organiser needs, e.g. age or experience). The organiser may refuse only if the new person does not meet the participation requirements.
You can ask the organiser to change the date. If they cannot, the event's cancellation policy applies.
A class pack (pass) or a voucher that is not tied to a specific date can be cancelled within 14 days of purchase for a full refund if you have not used it yet. If you have used visits within that period, the unused visits are refunded pro rata. After 14 days there is no refund, but unused visits stay valid until they expire.
A class booked with a visit from a pack is cancelled under the event's policy: within the refund window the visit returns to the pack, later it counts as used.
Sign in, open My account → Orders, pick the booking and click Cancel attendance. Before you confirm you see how much comes back under the event's policy. The booking is cancelled at once and the refund is sent to your card automatically; you get a confirmation by e-mail. Only in a few cases (e.g. a cash payment or a class pack) our team reviews the request and tells you the outcome. Bookings under the "Non-refundable" and "Weather-dependent" policies cannot be cancelled by you. For bookings made without an account, or if you need help, reach us through the Contact page.
These rules do not limit the rights you have as a consumer under Croatian and European Union law.
If the organiser cancels because of the weather, yes: the full amount or another date, your choice. If the activity goes ahead and you decide not to come, the event's policy applies.
That is a cancellation by the organiser: you get everything you paid back, every extra included.
Yes, until the activity starts, even for non-refundable bookings. Tell us the new person's name.
